Quite often the immense volume of the sky keeps us safe. Every so often it fails and tragedy happens. Sometimes its just time to call it a day.

- I have Glider and Private Pilot licences, both through Air Cadets. Over the years I've aquired VFR Night and VFR OTT although I haven't been over the top yet. I've been a Sapper, and a Signalman. My camera of choice is a Canon AT-1 though I also have a G-2 and a Elora 100. My kayak is a Sun Velocity in which I've paddled the Kootenay River, Lake Superior and Cabot Strait. I own a half share of a 1968 Cherokee D.
